Schizophrenia and Substance Use

It can be extremely difficult to cope with all that is schizophrenia. Imagine navigating your inner and outer worlds with all of this frightening confusion created by your own brain.

Schizophrenia and Substance Use

Perhaps it comes as no surprise, then, that there’s a high rate of substance use among people with schizophrenia. To put it mildly, schizophrenia is a challenge to live with. The people who turn to substance use are simply trying to deal with a life-altering, all-encompassing illness.
